Every font comes with its own terms. Take a moment to check them before you start.
Find your type.
Open a font to explore its specimen, available styles, and download details.
Check the license.
Free does not always mean unrestricted. Read the included license for permitted uses.
Make something new.
Follow the font’s download instructions, install it, and bring your next idea to life.
Can I use a free font commercially?
Check the license supplied with that font. Each download may have different permissions. See our license guide for more information.
How do I install a font?
Extract the downloaded ZIP file, then open the OTF or TTF font file and choose Install. Restart your design application if the font does not appear.
Can I share the downloaded files?
Check the font’s license for redistribution terms. To help someone discover a font, share its HeyFontLab product page.
